LEARN SKILLS. BUILD STRENGTH. PLAY.
In this 6-week bodyweight workshop we'll be focusing on the mastery of movement. Bodyweight movements are an amazing way to synchronize body and mind, find a new way to challenge ourselves, and create a new foundation for your personal passions, whether in studio or outdoors.
This workshop is designed to train new skills, build strength, improve your range of motion and sharpen your mind.
We'll explore bodyweight movements and techniques that are inspired from the practices of calisthenics, yoga and gymnastics. Think arm balances, rings, single leg squatting and many other variations.
Each week will progress over the last giving you the opportunity to take skills further and explore things more deeply.
It is my goal that when you leave, not only will you have learned new skills and developed more strength, but you will also have cultivated greater control and connection with your body, it's movement and your mind's willingness to embrace challenge.

IS THIS WORKSHOP FOR YOU?
Please review the following:
Although you do not need to be experienced in going "upside-down", I ask that you are ready to play on your hands! As we will be exploring hand balancing, please ensure you have wrists that will be happy with this action.
To make the most of the ring variations, I ask that you are comfortable hanging "actively" from the rings for 30 seconds and confident in a pull-up (assisted pull-ups counts)
We will progress over the 6 weeks so expect the movements in week 6 to be more challenging than week 1. Life happens and you might miss a week, which is totally okay but please be aware that by missing multiple in a row you might be challenged by the progressions that arrive.
Lastly and most importantly, this workshop is meant to be playful and fun, leaving you feeling inspired to carry on your own bodyweight journey.
